Unfortunately, some fathers were controlling and violent so having them out of our lives was safer. Not every father is a good or safe father.

Is this true even if the parents are separated? We are not together, my daughter still young, but she's with me 3-4 days a week. She is my world and I treat her like a princess. Measured, disciplined but very loving relationship

depends tbh. from what I've seen is that if fathers don't set boundaries with daughters, majority get spoilt for choices. resulting in husband struggling to keep a balance bc she is use to getting everything. it is important that fathers teach their daughters boundaries, etiquettes and mannerism. unconditional love doesn't mean to agree with everything and anything. real love is teach humanity and to be tolerant, patient and resilient also. she needs to know how to control here emotions.
