Loki :
So basically dark matter pulls/ spins the entire galaxy and not just the like shown in the video without

My theory: Dark matter isn’t a particle. It’s extra gravity caused by limits of our 4D spacetime description in extreme regions like the early universe or black holes. The gravity stays, even if the “source” isn’t locally visible.

I would say: it’s invisible dust that can still pull you and it makes up everything

Listened to a great Podcast with Astrophysicist Professor Geraint Lewis: Even though we have a black hole at the center of our galaxy (the Milky Way) which is 4 million solar masses, it is *irrelevant*. There is not enough mass to keep all 300 billion stars gravitationally bound to the Milky way...without dark matter!
Without dark matter, galaxies would end up losing their stars to space, (which happens to some tidal dwarf galaxies due to galactic collisions). There is *most likely* 60 times more Dark Matter than Matter in the universe. 🤯
I truly hope I live to see its discovery as a particle...🤞

what if we are the dark matter so that's why matter is so much more than dark matter (just joking)
