Kroger does this CONSTANTLY. I go to customer service even if it’s only a dime. To me it’s the principle of the thing.

Yes, watch the prices. Sometime the scan department doesn’t update as they should (bad on them for sure). But, I do not believe it’s a deliberate error.

I have shopped at Kroger for 20 years. I’ve had the same exact experience. I watch them like a hawk. I’m also shopping more and more at their competitors.

They’ve been doing this for years. I recognized it about 4 years back and I always make them clear it up. It shouldn’t require us watching so closely

Walmart, too! Last time it happened I saw her double scan a package of rolls. Not a lot of money but it was willfully done. I didn’t say anything but went right to C/S and got a refund. Then I went back to that same cashier. I still didn’t say anything to her but loudly addressed the people waiting in line to keep an eye on her scanning because she’s ripping customers off. I never knew a person could turn as many shades of bright red as she did! Guilty.
