I get it. I did it for YEARS. Spending hours on a Sunday making meals for Monday - Friday only to throw out a quarter of it because I was over it come Wednesday. It was too time consuming I started to develop a pretty toxic relationship with food. And honestly, I got bored. I had to find a new way to approach my nutrition to make it work for MY LIFE while keeping the goal top of mind. Insert batch cooking. It allowed me to have more variety with my meals and it gave me my time back. I didn’t have to spend hours in the kitchen anymore. With kids and work, who has time for that lbs. So here’s the lesson, don’t get pigeonholed into thinking things have to be one way just because that’s what you see. Keep the goal priority but make your nutrition routine work for YOU.
