@makingmagical: It’s almost time to set up my Nativitree again this year! I really have to psych myself up to get started because it takes hours to make sure everything is wired in and secure. It’s so much work but it’s worth it in the end. The nativity I use was a gift from my in-laws several years ago now. It’s the Kirkland set from Costco. The platform the stable is resting on is just a sheet of scrap mdf I cut a hole in the center of. I covered the ‘donut’ in tin foil to reflect the lights, Spanish moss, and acrylic paint in washes of browns and greens. The longer version of how I put it together is pinned on my page.
