in my 40 years of being a mechanic the worst one's to complain about the repair bill (1) Doctors (2) lawyers (3) Federal & State politicians. They complain about how labor rate & labor time I asked a Heart surgeon once how long it took him to learn & train to do his job he roughly 10 years I then asked who supplies his tools ? does he buy his own or does the hospital supply the tools in the operating room he said the hospital I said now for me I had auto shop in school 4 yrs + I worked as a mechanic s help during those 4 years I spent another 8 years being trained by GM,Ford,Dodge plus night school on European & Asian vehicles I have worked as a certified mechanic for 10 years see that tool box I have to buy my own tools as of this moment I have close to $30,000 in tools the boxes cost $10,350 no shop supplies tool's except the one's considered shop tools like the lift the heart surgeon said okay I get the point I said one more thing that tool labor cost I only get 45% the shop gets the other 55% he said I thought the shop paid for everything & you got 100% of the labor now I understand how would you feel if your next heart patient said you are over charging & you need to cut you bill

100% When no one else could do it, they called on him. When he fixed it What difference does it make how. Imagine the loss if it WASN'T fixed??? So the repair bill is definitely worth it to the company!!!
