Thank you for speaking out- my 10yr old autistic son relies on his IEP and we are so scared. Not to mention it is just the hypocrisy of being “pro-life” but then gutting EVERYTHING kids need to survive like the Dept of Education and WIC/SNAP.

Thank you for speaking out! This is my 15th year as a special education teacher and I am so concerned what is going to happen to my students and all children with IEPs. As a special education teacher, I am already fighting for my students to have what they need and get equitable access to curriculum and everything else.

As a BI in a public school these funds go to pay for people like me whose whole job is to help these kids be as independent as they possibly can and help them advocate for themselves as much as possible. These kids are already underserved,decisions like this makes it even worse.

Ive been so scared for the future with a struggling 3rd grader in a very red state, in a district that said “in order to prioritize a well rounded education and environment” that they would no longer fund the school food program😩🤦🏽♀
