Im in kentucky, this is my first winter with my ND goats. im stressing this cold weather. I feel like straw just isnt enough for them in their shelter. were entering low 30's temps.

Will this work for an outside shelter that has a grass bottom. It's a new pen and shelter, so there's still grass inside of the shelter, which worries me a little when it comes to wetness, parasites etc.

tried this method a while. did not work for us - more lice, it's gross for them to sleep in it and they got worms much easier. switched to a raised wood floor with space in the slats so their poo & pee falls through and so far they are so much cleaner and happier
