My baby was posterior while my epidural was being put in so literally every contraction rocked my world lmao but I don’t remember feeling it at all, asked for epidural at 4cm and they got it in within half an hour from me asking and then when the dr came in to put the catheter in they checked and I was fully dilated

I hope if you have another baby one day you go into labour naturally!! With my first my waters broke and I went into labour naturally but I got sepsis and wasn’t progressing fast enough to get her out before it became life threatening to both of us so they put me on pitocin and my contractions were back to back like 10-20 seconds apart and they were INTENSE 😭 I knew I wanted an unmedicated labour my second time because I had an epidural with my first and it failed (I had to have an emergency C-section so I never ended up having a working epidural) but I was a bit nervous because of how insanely intense pitocin contractions are, anyway I’m now 3 weeks postpartum with my second and I had a successful unmedicated vbac and let me tell you, my labour was 4 and a half hours and I had zero interventions so obviously didn’t have any pitocin and don’t get me wrong it was intense but it was SO much easier than my labour with my first!!!

I got induced as well, and every time I had to get a cannula, they missed my vein EVERY TIME. It happened about 5 times, and now I’m absolutely terrified of getting one to the point where I have a panic attack, and have to use the gas 😭

My induction did go positively and went well however as soon as my waters broke and I started pushing etc things didn’t go to plan and it ended up in an emergency c-section but I’m so glad I now know I couldn’t actually push my baby out due to my pelvic floor/birth canal that next time I’ll be having an elective c-section. So glad this went positively for you. We also had the fetal thing on my girls head as we had similar issues with her moving too much to get a proper reading ❤❤
