@alexandriamorgz: first grand mal ever and first seizure since about age 11, aside from a few absence ones around age 26. honestly shocking with how much flashing lights have been a part of my job that it took this long, and on a random Thursday of all days just sitting at home. Thankfully my boyfriend knows the steps: don’t touch them if you see they’re breathing, unless they start to puke or froth, in that case turn them to their sides so they don’t choke. And above all make sure their head is protected from any hard surface, or place where they could fall. It sounds morbid but try and film as much as you can to show them and their doctor as every seizure is unique. Dont call 911 unless the seizure lasts more than 5 minutes, they don’t seem to be breathing, or don’t have a known history of epilepsy.
