and yet the actual drs office doesn’t follow these same guidelines… and always making you talk when all you are trying to do is concentrate on going to your calm place, because you have white coat syndrome! Mind you your numbers at home are normal…

I find this hilarious because they never follow any of these rules at the Drs office and then want to put you on bP meds because they just ran you down a hall and slapped a cuff on you. 🙄

The problem is the difficulty to distinguish between physiological BP and BP induced by health anxiety and in some instances phobia of the BP machine! I hope one day they can figure it out and not give BP medications to people that suffer from health anxiety or the actual machine phobia!

Can you please go to my doctors office Noms healthcare and teach these nurses how to do this. my blood pressure is always high when I go there. She puts me on the exam table with no support whatsoever and I’m short so my feet dangle and she tells me that my blood pressure is high and I need more meds.
