"200 is cheaper than a hotel" a hotel is like 200 after taxes and fees and I don't have to do a damn thing! and if I need to extend my stay and my room is booked, they try to accommodate me and give me a similar room, and I get actual breakfast, you know, the second "B" on bed and breakfast 💀

Shoutout to hotel housekeepers, front desk attendants, kitchen staff, and everyone who works behind the scenes. A hotel stay is SO MUCH BETTER than an Airbnb

It feels like every “cheap alternative” to an expensive greedy service has become just like said expensive and greedy service. I mean, look at Netflix, Uber, DoorDash, Airbnb. All originally supposed to be cheap alternatives to services have now become the expensive service

Everything that is introduced as the cheaper alternative ALWAYS eventually becomes worse than the thing they aimed to complete with. Look at streaming platforms. It’s almost more convenient to just have cable now
