mine didn't start happening until after we got married...and it slowly started....within the first three years everything was totally different. now 15 years later and it just gets worse. we've gone to therapy and it never worked for him. he'd just ignore everything.

My ex was a great gas lighter. Told me I didnt understand the term, refused to acknowledge when he was wrong even with proof, just in general a difficult person to be around. He had enough good qualities that I stuck around for 20 years but I'm thankful to not have to deal with him anymore

I was recently called selfish bc “there was no food in the house.” I hadn’t had time to shop bc I was working, then helping our child for a few hrs after work. He told me he had to “go buy bread & lunch meat for himself.” He literally only thought of meeting his needs without realizing the whole family might have needed food.

The timing is ridiculous, when I tried to see if she was sorry for anything she said “I have nothing to be sorry for I never cheated”, never accused her of that. Then she said clearly I want to manipulate her into thinking the relationship ending was her fault, then proceeded to disrespect my family and use my vunerabilites against me.
