In Alaska girls wrestling has recovered from Covid numbers 3x more than boys. Last year we had 301 new HS girls competing… numbers aren’t in for this year yet….. but there are 3 teams in the state with over 30 girls. I love this sport!!!

Just attended our first all-girls tournament with my daughter this weekend. It was amazing. I’ve watched it go from all-boys with my brothers and sons; to just 1-2 girls; and now, we have teams!! I’m so proud of them. ♥
