THANK YOU! My great uncle was an astronaut. Patrick Fugit played him in the First Man movie. I’ve met Neil Armstrong and had dinner with Buzz Aldrin when I was young. My family’s name is literally on a plaque on the moon. Makes me crazy when ppl say the moon landing didn’t happen.

My question is, what exactly would be gained by faking the moon landing, these "fake moon landing" conspiracists never provide any incentive for why world governments and space agencies would engage in a conspiracy that seems like it would cost MORE money to maintain rather than actually doing the thing.
