@cops15123: Part 2: Female Kicked Out Of Airport Refuses to Go Quietly: On October 31, 2024, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received a call from the Department of Airports communication center regarding an individual sleeping on the ground by the atrium. The air operations officer informed that a black female had been at the airport for at least two days. After waking her, dialogue was initiated, but she refused to provide identification or the correct spelling of her name and date of birth. When asked about her flight, she stated she was waiting for a friend to send her a ticket via cell phone but could not specify the airline. Following instructions from the airport communications officer, it was determined that she would be issued a trespass warning for the property. She was escorted to the arrival level of the airport with the understanding that returning would lead to her arrest for trespassing. A warning was given that if she did not vacate, she would be taken to the county jail. At 0657 hours, the subject called the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, claiming harassment by deputies while waiting at the Taxi Loop. Upon contact, she reiterated her claims of harassment and refused to leave voluntarily despite being advised multiple times. The sergeant suggested she take a taxi to leave, but she continued to argue. Ultimately, she was informed that she would be arrested for trespassing. After further warnings, she was transported to the vehicle and processed at the airport station before being taken to the county jail without further incident.
