Yes!!! This with me with both my girls I did like to nurse the first 3-4 weeks for the bond but the older them get I prefer giving them a bottle and knowing exactly how much they eat

I’m currently exclusively pumping rn bc same always her never able to latch but ik slowly trying to get back to it (it’s not working) but I’m trying bc I’m sick of washing pump parts 12am,3,6,9,12 everyday 😞

I’m almost there 😅 giving myself maybe 4 more weeks and then I’ll quit. I can’t anymore with the crying/screaming while trying to bf and the feeling of failure after each session

I had to do this with my first because I had a fast letdown and it was overwhelming for her , but I would still offer the breast here and there daily and about 6 months in, she was able to handle it and it became so much easier to exclusively breastfeed and she would take a bottle if needed. It was the best of both worlds☺

I was exclusively pumping for about 3 months, during that time I tried to get baby girl to latch at least twice a day to get the “milk-saliva feedback” our chiro recommend it. Eventually at around 5.5 months my daughter ended up latching well & taking full feeds while bf!! I still prefer to pump& bottle feed during the day to track how much she eats! You’re doing great, you got this mama!!🫶🏼

I had to do this the first 2-3 months with my baby. It gave me a piece of mind with how much my baby was eating but it gave me really bad postpartum depression. Providing breastmilk for your baby is much hard then people give credit for.

Girl! Moms mental health matters! I seriously think being stressed about breast feeding made me lose my milk with my first! With my second I told myself no pressure I’ll use formula from the start if need be and I ended up breastfeeding her till 2 no issues. I swear they feel when we are stressed.

I tried so hard to breastfeed and it just didn’t work and I don’t produce enough milk anyway so I pump and give him formula

Honestly good for you because idk if I’d be able to pump every 3 hours 😅 I pump for work and some nights to have enough milk for work and I DREAD it everytime. Pumping moms are built different.
