It's literally TWO CHAPTERS out of THIRTY SIX. That's like 5% of the entire book. I'm getting kinda bored of this narrative that Fourth Wing is just smut and whoever reads it is just horny. A horny person wouldn't want to read over 500 pages just to get to those two chapters. Sorry if I sound rude but this has been annoying me for a while. If Harry Potter had 10 pages of something more explicit, would anybody throw the entire Harry Potter universe into the smut cathegory too?

Honestly, I don't get it. Like, it doesn't have some crazy scenes even, they're relatively realistic. We are all adults, right? People do that in real life, is it so surprising? Lots of literature out there has intimacy, not only fantasy with romantic subplots or romantasy. People are not appalled by torture or murder or oppression or whatnot but are appaled by intimacy in books?...
