I totally understand why John is on edge and upset. He’s severely traumatized and worried about how his mom is hurting his wife and MIL, but he NEEDS to talk about it. He’s repressing, and it’s only making things worse.

Poor John really needs some therapy. His default is not wanting to talk about things and bottling them away and I get it, that’s the easy way to do it. But it’s the one that’s gonna result in HIM having a more Barb like meltdown later. And he already told Jennifer once she was acting like their mother and brought her back to reality.
