@simplyhealthyrd: Removing the all or nothing mentality around food has a lot to do with how you think about food, if you think about it from a negative, restrictive standpoint you are A LOT more likely to end up overindulging or over eating highly palatable foods, versus adding to your plate with nutrient dense items to compliment those foods in a portion that serves your body in a positive way! #nutrition #dietitian #bloodsugarbalance #dietitiansoftiktok #nutrientdense
I just was talking to my mom about this when it comes to desserts and sweets for me! By allowing myself to have a little peanut butter cup or piece of chocolate, it isn’t a taboo thing I gorge myself on but rather I can just have one or two and move on

My favorite chips don't come in small bags, so they tend to go stale if I don't eat them pretty quickly 🫤.

Thank you , this is the best video I’ve seen , and it’s now what I’m trying to do to lose weight , as I seem to be restricting to lose weight , or eating unhealthy foods and nothing else , so now I’m adding what I need , as well as enjoying what I like x

This helps with my 3 year old son too. I put what he asks for on his plate and surround it with a balanced meal and he usually eats the other foods. Can’t wait to see how you share this mentality with your son.

The order you eat your plate matters right? I had heard that before but I forgot the exact order. I basically eat the "fun" thing last.

Can you speak more specifically about people with diabetes and how they can add foods so they don’t have to cut out all the sugars or is it the same as everyone else? Thank you!!!

You and @Abbey Sharp are making a difference in the world! She would call this a hunger-crushing combo. Both of you have changed how I feed my mind and body 💕
