Apparently even if curb is dropped no law says you cannot park there it's crazy, you can park on people's drives and you can't do anything legally it's mad

Pay the Council to get permission for a dropped kerb. Even then you can still park across drive if no vehicle is on drive.

I actually suspect the kerb is dropped. Looking at the wheels of the parked car, there isn’t much of them covered. If the kerb wasn’t dropped you wouldn’t be able to see as much of the wheels.

I had the exact same problem and having protected no claims I accidentally got to close and my tow bar damaged his car my insurance paid 😂

the dropped kerb is a money making scam by the council because you can only use council approved contractors which means as we say in Yorkshire they're "having your pants down"

Just because a kerb is dropped it does not belong to the home owner. Having a drop or paying to have one only gives you the right to cross the foot way onto the property highways still own the footway . . It is not illegal to obstruct the driveway, roads and footways are different issues. One pays road tax so generally if it’s a highways rd you can park , obviously unless there are signed legal restrictions to parking. If you are one of Emergency services Doctors , fire police etc that are 24hr access required you can get a sign placed and highways should mark the space accordingly giving you help needed if someone does block needed access.

The person who is on the drive is breaking the law for driving over the curb I know this cause I have been done for it putting my car on my drive with out a dropped curb and it was the council that did me
