I just stood there frozen by my cousin, we were 13 when he died. I just stared at him. silently cried. didn't speak. didn't move for awhile. couldn't tell you a word of the service, but I can smell formaldehyde when i think of him. It changed the core of who I am.

My mentally handicapped uncle hugged the casket, wailed and begged for his mama to come back, promising he'd be good 😥 I couldn't even be sad that my Nana had died because my heart was so broken for him. He had everyone in tears.

The first graveside service I ever worked we had a jumper. No one warned me about those.

Have you had a casket tip over and what do you do when it happens? 🤔

My parents said that one time someone kept crying saying they wanted to go with the deceased and acted like they were trying to get in. Someone came up and tried to push them in and the person jumped back!😆😆

How do you classify those of us who are so numb by grief, all we can do is stare, wide-eyed, and cry at the loss?

Reminds me of the 6 feet under episode where nate and david spoted and prepared for a casket jumper.

I fainted but it sure was not planned. It was very legit. Hope it doesn’t happen again

My sister passed out three times almost a year ago at my moms… The other slid down the wall. I sat as a shell on guard so mom wouldn’t be tipped over. I’m the 4th! I left a part of me when they closed the casket.

I lost it when they closed the casket for some reason I was thinking it was going to be the family prayer

When I go to funerals I don’t go to the front and I don’t look at the deceased. It’s a sight I can’t take.

I passed out at seeing my dad in the casket and I can assure you it wasn’t fake. I was truly devastated.
