Oils don’t moisturise… it locks in moisture so if the hair is dry it will get dryer -there need to be moist before oil.

I can vouch.. I didn’t know but I’ve always had dry hair so I had to oil it so it don’t get frizzy and staticky.. I’ve also always had extremely thick hair before I started oiling but I trim my own hair and people are always commenting on how it’s so long and how thick the end is and how it doesn’t taper down towards the ends. My hair has definitely been much happier since I started oiling and trimming myself while I used to have a lions main that felt like rough hay..

Too many people saying “Oils are not moisturizing” take a piece of paper, pour oil on it.. is it still dry?? The point is that the hair absorbs it in a beneficial way 😆

Cutting will ensure your ends are sustaining the length …. It’ll grow from the roots but the ends will just keep getting shorter from breakage and that’s why some people feel like they get stuck at one length

I see so many videos saying oh if you don’t cut it it’s gonna keep splitting then I see other videos saying if you cut it. It’s just gonna split wouldn’t shorter cutting split in. Supposedly isn’t going to fix the problem. You can grow your hair out even with split ends as long as you keep them trimmed slightly at the end it will help.
