I love my sunrise alarm clock. Changed my life.

JellyToastBrisket :

Proof that I have this alarm clock. This alarm clock is over $300 and at this point has become an expensive paperweight in my home. I have found the alarm to be unreliable, and unfortunately there is a little glow in the middle of the screen that does not turn off and I like to sleep in total darkness. The only positive thing I have to say is that it looks and feels like an expensive alarm clock.

I’m convinced that any sound becomes jarring when used to wake you up 😅

Saul Goodman :

Or, or, hear me out... You put that same sound on your phone alarm clock. Boom! I just saved you $300

Acerbitas :

I like it but $300 is crazy….

ag215bd527 :

capitalism is what makes alarm clocks stressful, not alarm clocks

IanMalcolm :

Me waking up to my best parallel parking ever 🥹

Herobrine's sidepiece :

My solution to making alarms less jarring is just having them be different. I think the reason we get startled by them is because the same sound has woken us up for years on end training and creating a new reflex. I have my alarm set to play a random song out of a playlist I made so even tho it's loud and intense it constantly changes making it a lot more pleasant and just wakes me up.

c :

yeah but once you tie that sound to waking up at 6am for work - it's going to have the same dread you attach to the iPhone sound.

Erik :

Oh yeah that chime is so nice. It's way better than expected.

yourmom :

It's really nice but this wouldn't wake me up. I don't think alarm clocks are supposed to by relaxing.
