Lb7 has the Allison 1000 which is the same trans that the Cummins guys switch to, too hold power, fix the fuel pump and injectors lb7 all the way if stock vs stock l5p

Why do I only hear of the cp4 on lml being a big issue is on TikTok? Even the dealer and other mechanics I’ve talked to say just run good fuel and don’t run em dry

Esoteric Transmission :
MY LBZ had 300k on it and I sold it for $12k with bad headgaskets. I love my LML. Until a few years ago there were more LMLs out there than any other duramax. I’ve seen more engine failures in L5Ps than any other ones

They're all hard to work on, compared to the Ford or Dodges. My pick would probably be the L5P with the 6 speed, if I was to choose a GM. GMs front ends could use a little help too, compared to the solid axles in the Ford and Dodge

LMM's dont get enough credit (Yes I know they're an LBZ with more emissions) after its been deleted and S362 Non-VGT Turbo (326K miles), it holds up better then my buddy's LBZ with 230K ish miles.

Just turned in my lml work truck for a new one. drove it since new and has 310000 miles on it. pull the oil fill cap off and not the slightest blow by. I beat it good and could kill it.
