Or you can just store it in a warm garage and not worry about anything but the best thing to do is run the pink stuff through it and stored in a warm garage. Make sure you put fuel stabilizer.

I used to just blow it out the old 2 stroke, but now with the four stroke motor definitely winterize with antifreeze,like you said not worth the risk
