Everyone says Rory was terrible to Dean and he was an angel. What I saw is him picking fights, sulking, emotionally immature, left her because she wasn't ready to say I love you (love should not come with an ultimatum), he was insecure about her going to Harvard then Yale, he idealized the quiet bookworm that adored him. He claimed she bailed on him when he literally dumped on their 3 month anniversary, then at the dance, then outside of her grandparents house. Yes, she definitely cheated by seeing Jess in NYC and kissing him but I definitely see more immaturity in Dean than Rory.
