Do you agree, Son.?
My top 3 protein foods that have saved me this pregnancy. This 1st trimester has HUMBLED me. If you have also experienced a lot of nausea in 1st trimester incorporating protein through out the day can help subside nausea. These are the foods and hacks I have used! #ad 1. Mulu cottage cheese- Cottage cheese with increase protein and less than 1g of sugar. I’ve turned this into dips (street corn dip, French onion, southwest), added some to eggs, pancake mix even cornbread mix to amp up protein in sneaky ways - find Mulu at Walmart! 2. Beans of any kind- beans are a great source of iron & calcium, both needed during pregnancy. Beans also contain fiber which helps stay regular, as a common symptom is constipation (bummer). For me rice, beans, cheese has been a go to simple meal 3. Eggs- Not only a great source of protein but also choline. During my first pregnancy, I got major egg ick. To take advantage of the benefits yet not eat straight eggs I would add eggs into my pancake mixtures, oatmeals, and fried rices! Let’s help other moms and moms to be below! Write your fav protein source that got you through 1st trimester #1sttrimester #highprotein #highproteinrecipes #cottagecheese @MULU Protein
