@theladyofthechateau: Four years ago, we followed Julia’s beautiful dream and left our lives in the U.S. to move into a medieval castle in France. Julia believed this place could be more than stone walls—that it could gather, heal, and inspire. And she was right. But what we’ve all quickly learned is that fairy tales take work 😅 It’s a mix of repairs and maintenance, alongside the wonder of enjoying a community: meals shared, laughter, costumes, and play. This château has come alive because of the people who’ve been part of it—our family, our incredible staff, friends, and our retreat and workshops guests - who stay for a week, a season, or return again and again. Each one leaves their mark here. Because dreams don’t stay alive on their own. They’re sustained by community—by many hands and many stories. And that’s the real fairy tale we’re living.
