I never answer numbers I don’t know 😂 And then I go on to Who Called Me. Luckily also my mobile company has a service that tells you if it’s a scam call etc x

I never answer a call if I don't know the number or have it in my contact list, if its someone genuine they'll leave a message.

I never answer any of thier questions esp when they ask to spk to my hb and when I say wrong number they say well can we answer you some ques -ermmmm take this number off your database!!

I would say definitely a scam, just say this number is being monitored by police for training purposes, they soon hang up

You’re absolutely right in what you’re saying. I don’t answer any unknown numbers and my phone usually gives me a message of suspected spam with the number. If it’s a legit caller they would leave a voice mail. Try to get used to saying things like ‘speaking’ or ‘correct’ anyway if you’re not sure who’s calling you

if it's a number I don't recognise but a local area code, I answer the phone and immediately say "who's calling please?" in a stern voice. I've heard of the yes scam calls. it's frightening. gone are the days when you had a housenphone and always answered it, because you knew it would be someone you knew. now no-one you know phones you. 8 times out of ten it's cold calling or a scam.
