(As someone who did long distance for over a year) It honestly is going to suck for a bit, but once yall figure out a system that works for you it gets so much better and is so healthy for your relationship. Why worked for us was calling at least once a day no matter how we were feeling just to force us to communicate and schedule things we could do together like watch a movie or make something.
