@thearkband: Early 2003. The Ark performed an acoustic version of their beautiful ballad “Disease” live for MTV Fridge. The song was originally recorded at Stockholm’s legendary Polar Studios, the same studio that brought the world classic tracks from ABBA, Led Zeppelin, Ramones and Genesis. It was released as the fourth single from In Lust We Trust (2002), with “Opera” as the B-side. Ola Salo later explained in interviews: “The song is actually not about illness.
