I agree with the overall sentiment of your video. A bias that I see coming through is the belief that academic hospitals always give better care and have better outcomes than non-teaching hospitals. That is likely true for higher end services that are not offered outside of tertiary and quaternary centers, but I don't think it always holds for routine bread and butter type hospitalizations. Just a thought for consideration

I’ve only worked in EM and can unequivocally say, American healthcare is great at Trauma, acute treatment of illness, but terrible at helping people lead a healthy lifestyle. Probably not healthcare’s fault,more of an issue of poor diets, substance abuse and car oriented society. Basic exercise is missing in most people over 30 y/o.

as a medical student I've experienced this, my aunt had sepsis and there was no nurse to attend to her since only people who have money have "special" treatment. I guess your life only matters if you're rich, which is ridiculous. I never want to work in an environment like that.
