@looseygooseyjooseymoosey: Kurt Vile was one of my first introductions to the Indie scene back in 2013/2014. I heard Wakin’ On A Pretty Day and immediately fell in love with the feeling of getting lost in hazy guitar melodies and riffs/beats that resonated deeply within. Then in 2015 I had discovered Courtney Barnett prior to the release of “Sometimes I Sit and Think, Sometimes I Just Sit” and I fell deep into that as well. When this duo album was announced, I thought it made sense. They really do mend together well! This is the first listen of this LP since the 2010s for me but so far I have enjoyed it again.
