Professional judgement does not override protocol. If admin followed basic protocol, then professional judgement is invoked… but she didn’t follow protocol which at bare minimum is to talk w child herself… and don’t say she was monitoring tests… I used to do both for far more kids.

If a 6 year old with a gun is “unimaginable” then how can getting shot in the chest by a 6 year old be a reasonable hazard of the job? Bc that’s the same argument the school made about worker’s comp
