I keep asking on luciferism posts on if it’s the Roman god or the fallen angel mostly known in the Bible. Bc I get confused on many. I see pictures about the fallen angel but get nothing on if it’s Roman or not

THANK YOU!! I'm a Luciferian (and connecting to the infernal) and I see Lucifer's practice as a symbol of hope and awakening, and for protection. He also gets you ready for the rough path of infernal work. I became a Lilithian with his guidance! He's not a devil/demon but a protector and someone who helps with spiritual work.

The figure called Lucifer has been woven through centuries of thought not as a heroic symbol but as the expression of a deeper drama the drama of a created mind that turns its brilliance against the very source of its being. When ancient readers encountered the image of the morning star falling they did not treat it as a stray poetic line. They linked it with the wider pattern scattered across Scripture the fall of a proud spirit the refusal of humility the twisting of freedom. Christ speaks of seeing the adversary fall like lightning and the early teachers understood these images as one continuous story. They were not inventing a new character. They were recognizing a single theme repeated in different languages across ages. The idea that Lucifer belongs to a lineage of cultural heroes collapses the moment one looks closely. Prometheus rebels to bring fire Enki guides humankind Azazel embodies impurity. None of these figures share the moral structure that Christianity describes. To merge them is to flatten their traditions into an aesthetic collage and philosophy does not thrive on collage. It thrives on clarity. Christian thought sees enlightenment not as self exaltation but as the reception of truth through humility. The fallen spirit is not condemned for seeking wisdom but for rejecting the order in which wisdom is given. Pride tears a creature away from the Good and in that turning even light becomes darkness. When the tradition names that proud spirit Lucifer it does so to express this paradox a bright being who extinguishes his own brightness by exalting himself above the source of light. To understand this is to engage the historical and philosophical depth of the symbol. One may reject the faith but one cannot sever the symbol from the tradition that shaped it. Philosophy begins with honesty and ends with coherence and both point to the same conclusion the ancient meaning of Lucifer is inseparable from a fall freely chosen.

Isaiah 14:12-15 KJV [12] How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! [13] For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: [14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. [15] Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.14.12-15.KJV

I personally think that you can worship anything and anyone you want even if imaginary it's how gods and other divine beings came to exist and be worshipped with the imagination of humans so my take on this would be worship whatever and whoever you want no limit

Thanks for saying this, I was originally going to portray him as a fallen angel until I did more research and changed the portrayal to be of an older deity instead

Psalms 34:18 NIV [18] The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." In times of profound sorrow or distress, it’s easy to feel isolated. Many of us have experienced moments when it seems as if the world has moved on, leaving us to grapple with our hardships alone. Yet, this verse assures us of a comforting truth: God stands beside us, especially in our brokenness. The psalmist reminds us that God's presence is not distant or indifferent. Instead, He is intimately close to those who are hurting. This nearness is not just about proximity but about His deep compassion and understanding of our pain. Jesus’ own life reflects this, as He often sought out and ministered to those who were marginalized, suffering, or grieving. God does more than just stand with us; He offers salvation. Salvation here can be understood as rescue, healing, and restoration. Our spirits, crushed under the weight of life’s burdens, find solace and hope in His promise of deliverance. In modern life, where speed and efficiency often take precedence, such divine empathy is both countercultural and revolutionary. It invites us to slow down and rest in God’s presence, trusting that He is actively involved in mending the fractures in our hearts. As you reflect on this verse, consider how you respond to your own brokenness. Do you isolate yourself, or do you invite God into your pain? Moreover, think about how you can be an instrument of God’s love to others who are brokenhearted. How can you embody His compassion in a world that often overlooks the hurting? Reflect on this: In what ways can you turn your own experiences of brokenness into channels of empathy and support for others?
