I learned that one of my closest friends of 30 years had secret animosity or relational aggression. She hid it so beautifully until I could tell in the last few years something was off. Cut her off this year without a word when God revealed it. This has so hurtful very hurtful to me. 💔

Literally had a married friend who was so upset her other friend was getting engaged she tried to sabotage it and then when she defended herself kept saying "shes going to end up married and unhappy like us" I was like who is us?!?!?? Then the same year my husband threw me a surprise bday party and she ruined it and told me all because she was so jealous my husband was doing something nice for me. This is sooooooo real! And no I do not talk to her anymore kick rocks in white socks with that behavior.

I’ve recently distanced myself from someone I thought was my friend. She started asking mutual friends questions about my wellbeing, but never messaged or approached me with the same questions. Gradually, she began making backhanded comments or little “digs” towards me during group conversations. She was watching my social media stories but never interacted with me online. Silent when I achieved anything positive. I realise now that she has never liked me, she just couldn’t keep up the facade after 10 years.
