It’s associated with youth and/ or femininity. So….yeah makes men’s LOVE of blonde hair even creepier. It’s cause children still don’t have very high melanin levels and are often blonde and develop darker hair over time. So blonde gives “child”

for both why men love blonde women and why women don't like blonde men, the answer is the exact same: bc blonde hair is (usually) a childhood trait. its gives youthful/innocent vibes and most women find themselves not sexually attracted bc past a certain age we are looking for signs of age appropriateness in sexual partners. meanwhile men find themselves desiring the blondes bc they see youth as equivalent tonpurity/childlike innocence/etc. its creepy. less than 2% globally maintain any blondeness into adulthood. even then, it darkens with age to like brass dark blonde. i say this as someone married to a blonde man for 14yrs. hes a dane/swede
