Ari :
Im bulking and my goal is hypertrophy, so I’m thinking of doing 3 days per week, full body. Each day would consist of hip thrusts, a squat/lunge variation for my quads, a hinge variation for my hammies, and an abduction movement for my lower body. If I do all these at 2 sets, then I’d be hitting each muscle group with 6 sets, right? Do you recommend I throw in one more gym day to get to 8 sets?

Retro Rhett :
This makes so much sense. Even Dorian Yates tells men, unless you have steroids, you shouldn’t be lifting 5 days a week. He recommends at most 4, but for casuals 3 non-consecutive days so you can have enough rest and recovery. Recovery is so important! And that’s MEN advice, so women would need MORE. Keep up the good work, I like your research! It’s eye opening, I appreciate it.

Very interesting, so how are you training now? Do you not have a glute specific day anymore?
