So as a follower, I’m conflicted. I don’t want to judge anyone’s way of following Christ so I’ll present it in a question. Christmas is fake but we pretend it’s the time of our Lord’s birth - why would you celebrate his crucifixion on this day and not Easter? Also, are we doing away with the nativity scenes for this holiday? This seems weird, especially with the nails. I get that we want to remember his sacrifice but the consumerism is getting a bit much don’t y’all think?
