I would not use the glue. Nails are good enough. With the glue,when you decide to remove it the walls will have been damaged.

I love it! Itโs beautiful. I have seen someone use plain white wallpaper behind these panels for apartment friendly removal. That way itโs not supposed to damage the walls when itโs removed.
