@imhattiex: Every time I start building something with someone, there’s always that moment when they ask what I do for a living. I hesitate, search for the right words, and when I finally decide to be honest, I see the look on their face change. Sometimes it’s judgment, sometimes just curiosity - but way too often, it becomes the excuse to never bring me home to meet their family. As if my job somehow erases the person I am. But I’m just like any other girl. I love to laugh, to share the little moments, to love without having to hide. I’ve learned not to hope too much, not to get too attached. But deep down... who doesn’t dream of being accepted for who they truly are? I have values, dreams, a heart that beats just as hard as anyone else’s. I’m not just a screen or some illusion. I’m a woman with real feelings, wishing that someday, someone will see past the image - and proudly choose me, with no shame. If you’ve ever felt that kind of rejection, if you’ve ever been scared you wouldn’t be “enough” for someone because of what you do or who you are... Just know you’re not alone. And maybe, in the end, it’s really just about finding the right people.
