@usa.handyman: Have you ever seen a floor like this in the United States? Here’s how to build an end-grain floor with 2x4 wood on a budget. #handyman #DIY #tools #creativetiktok #LearnOnTikTok
I'm gonna redo my bathroom floor with random flooring samples from Lowe's. I've been collecting 4 to 5 each visit

There's a reason why they don't sell soft wood floors, and only hardwood floors. you'll be installing another floor in 3 months. 😂😂

Floor boards are soft wood people sand and treat them as a finish all the time and have been doing for god knows how long so this should be good for years 👌👌👌

My concern would be that fresh 2x4's have not been dried properly. It may warp, but, open to new ideas. Maybe if the concrete has been sealed with a moisture barrier especially over concrete floors that wicks moisture. Maybe start with an entryway...

DOUGLAS FUR IS WAY TOO SOFT FOR A FLOOR.... NORMALLY YOU USE A DECIDUOUS WOOD LIKE RED OAK, BUT NOT PINE! 😱....

There's a reason why they sell hardwood flooring. Do it in softwood and you'll find you're often having to repair it. If you want parquet then hardwood is the only way.
