Sorry, but care to enlighten me why does recitation of this particular Ancient Chinese language sound similar to several Austroasiatic languages of mainland Southeast Asia

Not being Chinese but the Vietnamese language still preserves that “tr” sound in Sino-Viet vocab. For example, 陟 is “trắc”, 中 is “trung”, 茶 is “trà”.

There’s no way I can learn these consonants. I speak 4 Chinese dialects and I’m glad they’re all tonal.

your pronounciation does make sense, with individual pronounciation of each chracter sounds strange and wrong, but once they spkoen in one complete line, it does sound like a kinda dialect in China.

Fun fact: the Vietnamese pronunciation for 陟 is "trắc" which is somewhat like how it's pronounced in ancient Chinese.

Old Chinese is by far the funniest ancient language to me I’m just imagining the ancient Sino-Tibetan people transforming into actual trash compactors to have a simple conversation

I’m interested to know how the phonology changed over time. 3000 years is a long time, but it is incredible how much it’s changed
