Hi there, I was wondering, have you checked your omega 3 to 6 ratio yet?
I recently discovered, DHT( which you’re trying to block with pumpkin seed oil) is causing the “fire” but cytokines(inflammation) fuels the fire bc it amplifies DHT even more. Omega 3, Polyphenols(green tea, curcumin, dark chocolate 85%, rosemary, berries etc) can block cytokines, so less inflammation. If you’re taking very high doses of pumpkin seed oil+ consuming a lot of omega 6 containing foods, you could fuel the fire even more. In the study they’ve used 400mg daily which is considered safe and if you would supplement high quality algae oil (DHA, EPA), you can counteract the additional omega 6 and have all the pumpkin seed oil benefits. Cytokines mess with hormones and metabolism and even block T4 to T3 conversion, interesting for thyroid issues🤯. You might want to do some more research on endotoxins/cytokines. Improving gut barrier integrity can help too bc less endotoxins=less cytokines. About 70% of cytokines originate in the gut wall. I also watched a German doco recently. It was quite interesting…a scientist discovered a link between cytokines and depression/stress bc endotoxins can come up to the brain and cause inflammation too.
