whilst i understand how frustrated you are threatening to withhold his tools isn’t the way to sort it out because legally withholding his tools would be classed as theft and also malicious intent because your stopping him from earning the money to pay you back there are routes you can go down that will keep you inside the law life he’s a credited tradesman he’ll be part of a quilt you could speak to them or report him to trading standards no hate intended I don’t want you getting in trouble know one’s worth that. leave a review about him and his poor communication skills and poor service you have options. enjoy your first Christmas in your new home.
