@inlinepaintandbody: Silvers can be tricky. I find a wet on wet technique using DeBeer gets things laid down smooth and covered 90% of the way. Most silvers have 977 in it which is just a clear basecoat. After I let that flash I lay down a medium/light orientation. Lean on the lighter application side I find helps with mottle.
