Did long distance for 6.5 years! We both had jobs that kept us very very busy which was helpful, and we ALWAYS made sure to have the next trip planned so we always had a date to look forward to. Loved sending care packages to feel close, played SOOO many games online together, and prioritized each other. And also being okay with feeling sad about missing them sometimes!! It wasn’t always easy, because of covid we went 2 years without getting to see eachother at all, and my besties, mom, and sister always listened when I needed a good cry because I missed him. But the distance taught both of us the value of quality time with anyone, how important communication is, and how to be creative with showing someone you love them. Long distance is hard, but it’s equally beautiful. 9 years in now and we’re living together, engaged, and it was worth every second. ♥️

We started seeing eachother once a month the first few months…now we’re together every 2 weeks because we can’t be apart lol. In officially moving in 3 weeks. No more good byes!!!
