look at this perspective,,in the avengers movie Thanos refers to himself as ' I am who I am 'referring directly to himself as God does in the bible but the ones we praise as our heroes are the one's who fight him,,also his main aim is to reduce the population of earth for whatever reason which reminds me God did something nearly like that in the time of Noah.
