@colettescocktails: batch cocktail week for thanksgiving!!! episode 3: smoked apple milk punch (makes about 5-6) 🧊🍎🥃🍁 •combine in a bowl/pitcher: •1.5 cups tequlia •1.5 cups mezcal •1.25 cups freshly squeezed lime juice •1.25 cups apple cider •1.25 smoked cinnamon simple syrup* •stir together •in a separate bowl, add 1.25 cups whole milk •add the cocktail INTO the whole milk •stir well •cover and let sit at room temp for at least 3 hours •after the 3 hours, put a coffee filter into a fine mesh strainer and place the strainer over a bowl (you may need multiple depending on how large of a serving you’re making) •pour the mixture into the strainer •this will take about 6-8 hours to follow strain through •once done, throw away the filter and store your clarified cocktail in a sealed jar or bottle in the fridge for up to 4 weeks •serve over large ice cube (optional: smoke the glass with cinnamon!) •garnished with smoked cinnamon stick *smoked cinnamon simple syrup •add equal parts sugar and water to a pot •add 2 smoked cinnamon sticks per 1/2 cup sugar and water to the pot (light the cinnamon sticks on fire carefully and let burn for about 10 seconds before adding to the pot) •let simmer over low heat and stir occasionally •once the sugar has dissolved (about 5 min per 1/2 cup), remove from heat •let fully cool •once cooled, remove the cinnamon sticks enjoy!!!! #batchedcocktails #batchcocktails #thanksgivingcocktails #clarifiedcocktails #milkpunch
